New Ground Penetrating Radar

Radiodetection’s RD1000+ Ground Penetrating Radar is designed to locate all types of buried infrastructure including non-metallic utilities using advanced wide-band radar in an ergonomic and rugged system.

A powerful complement to hand-held electromagnetic locators, the RD1000+ features RD1000+150x150 advanced digital signal processing, which allows operators to detect even small utilities at depths of up to 8 metres (27 feet), and to position multiple utilities in context to one another with a single pass.

Once a buried pipe or duct is detected, operators can simply reverse the cart to enter Locate Mode, which allows them to characterise and position the signal, and measure the utility depth, allowing easy identification and analysis of the utility. The RD1000+ is designed to be collapsed on site without requiring specialist tools, and re-assembled in less than 2 minutes.
