WATER FILTER USES DIRT TO ENHANCE CLEANLINESS
Automatic self-cleaning screen filters offer a positive barrier to all particles larger than the openings (filtration degree) of the screen element. Unlike most other filtration technologies, screens remove 100 percent of all TSS larger than the designated filtration degree. The retained particles form a layer, or “cake” of dirt on the screen surface, which in turn captures even smaller particles. This additional “free filtration” improves the filter’s efficiency well beyond its designated filtration degree. The filters provide an ideal solution for cooling systems, equipment protection, wastewater treatment, water reuse and nozzle protection. Line-pressure powered, the filters clean themselves without external power and do not interrupt system flow, eliminating the need for redundant units to provide a continuous flow of clean water downstream. Orival filters can be easily installed easily in any position, even upside down. Single units are available from 10 to 12,000 gpm.
