Valves with spherical cone shape design

GF Piping Systems has introduced the new generation Type 561/562 Cone Check Valve and the Type 591/595 Vent and Bleed Valve Series featuring a new spherical cone shape design that offers improved flow characteristics and leak-proof operating performance. Available in sizes from 3/8" - 4", customers can select from PVC, CPVC, PROGEF Standard, Polypropylene, SYGEF PVDF, or ABS materials to match their plastic piping system. Sealing materials are available in EPDM and FPM.

Higher-performing pipe offered

GF Piping Systems offers new higher performing CPVC (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride) Schedule 80 Pipe that complies to ASTM D1784 Cell Classification 24448. The new offering is achieved through compliance to a higher material classification under ASTM D1784, which is the Material Standard for PVC and CPVC extrusion and molding compounds. By manufacturing with the 24448 compliance compound, GF Piping Systems’ CPVC Schedule 80 Pipe now offers improved impact resistance, better tensile strength, and higher heat temperature deflection characteristics up to 230 degrees F (110°C).

Check valve easy to install

Offering expanded application versatility, GF Piping Systems introduces the Type 369 Wafer Check Valve, the company’s first check valve to be offered in sizes as large as 12 inches. This feature, combined with its simple installation ability, unique spring option for horizontal mounting, and excellent flow characteristics, make it an ideal check valve solution for a variety of applications. Suitable uses include water and wastewater treatment, aquatics, chemical processing, municipalities, and water parks. Check valves, used to allow flow in one direction, typically require glue or tools for installation. GF Piping’s Type 369 Check Valve eliminates these requirements – the valve is simply inserted between two standard ANSI or ISO/DIN flanges, making for easy installation or removal in the field. Centering eyelets provide easy fitting, adding to installation simplicity.
