Schneider Electric to integrate IntelliView’s leak detection technology in pipeline management system

Telvent Canada Ltd. (part of Schneider Electric) and IntelliView Technologies Inc. have formed an agreement to collaborate and deliver IntelliView’s video analytics based leak detection technology as an integrated offer in the Schneider Electric Enterprise Pipeline Management System (ePLMS) applications suite, specifically within the OASyS DNA SCADA system platform. The agreement is effective immediately.

System monitoring and control

Schneider Electric’s VijeoCitect HMI/SCADA system facilitates remote monitoring and control of water and waste water treatment plant operations. Featuring easy-to-use configuration tools, VijeoCitect can be scaled to fit any size water treatment facility or combination of utilities – from an easy-to-use operator interface with networked reporting capability to an entire client/server HMI/SCADA system spanning multiple plants on different continents. VijeoCitect centralizes management, ensures round-the-clock reliability/regulatory compliance, and can operate over large networks with different types of communications, including auto dialers, wireless networking and other SCADA-based water systems. An easy-to-use operator interface – VijeoCitect Pocket – allows the user to remotely monitor and control their site from the palm of their hand.


Schneider Electric’s VijeoCitect HMI/ SCADA software enhances productivity, facilitates system expansion while reducing cost. The software is well suited for a wide range of applications – from standalone control stations to redundant supervisory systems, and from small to very large machines. It can be used effectively in many sector-specific applications – petrochemical, sawmill, pulp and paper, mining, metal processing, water treatment, packaging, and palletizing.
