In December, Terex Utilities shipped a Model 330 Auger Drill to Antarctica. Designed to meet the specific needs of a science field team supported by the National Science Foundation, NSF-managed U.S. Antarctic Program, the 330 Auger Drill features a unique mounting configuration and numerous insulation and heating modifications to operate in the extreme environment. The new Auger Drill replaces a Model 330 that has been in use since 1990.
Powered by an electronic, Tier 4 interim Perkins 1204E-E44TA engine and an optional 4-speed servo power synchro transmission with automatic shifting, the 94-hp Terex TLB840 backhoe loader is now available in North America. Terex has introduced its new line of skid steer loaders and compact track loaders specifically designed for rental stores and contractors working in site preparation, construction, landscaping, infrastructure development and demolition applications. Based on proven designs and engineering, the new Terex Generation 2 (GEN2) loaders feature more than 100 enhancements from the previous models and are available in radial and vertical lift-path patterns with rated operating capacities (ROC) ranging from 665 – 3,600 lb.
