Atlas Copco Adds High Flow Models to Vastly Expanded Dewatering Pumps Portfolio

Atlas Copco has expanded its offering for the dewatering market with the launch of over 30 new heavy-duty, high-capacity pumps. This includes the addition of three high-flow models to its PAS range of centrifugal dry prime pumps. The new pumps are capable of accommodating flows of up to 1,400 cubic meters per hour.

Atlas Copco introduces new QAS generator range

Atlas Copco Construction Equipment North America has introduced a completely redesigned range of eight QAS mobile generators for prime applications. Covering power ratings from 25 to 330 kVA, the fuel-efficient lineup offers the latest Tier 4 Final engines, footprints up to 20 percent smaller than the previous generation, and a superior end-user experience. The new paralleling option is easy to use and provides additional benefits in terms of versatility, reliability and fuel efficiency.

Atlas Copco DrillAir X28 compressor for geothermal drilling

Atlas Copco is expanding its DrillAir range with a new compressor designed to meet the demands of the geothermal drilling industry. The DrillAirX28 provides improved versatility and drilling speed in addition to a new engine, enabling users to drill two 200 metre holes in a single day at 30 bar of pressure.

New, Compact XAS 90 Portable Air Compressor

Atlas Copco launched its XAS 90 air compressor, which is a cost-effective option for utility and pneumatic-tool applications demanding as much as 88 cubic feet per minute of air power. The compressor, like all Atlas Copco portable air compressors, keeps cost of ownership low due to its simple maintenance and minimal fuel consumption.

Atlas Copco's New Tier 4 Final XAS 185 Portable Compressor

The new Atlas Copco XAS 185 portable compressor gives contractors a reliable source of compressed air for a variety of jobs, including operating pneumatic tools and sandblasting. It’s compact, efficient and economical, and features a 49-horsepower Kubota diesel engine that complies with Tier 4 Final emission standards. Atlas Copco exhibited the XAS 185 on Feb. 23-26, 2015, during The Rental Show in New Orleans.

Mobile Rig

Atlas Copco announced it will launch a new mobile rig for boring “opening holes” – raiseboring, boxhole boring and downreaming. Named “Easer,” the rig can boxhole bore and downream to 750 millimetres (29 inches) in diameter, as well as perform conventional raiseboring to 1,200 millimetres (47 inches) in diameter.

New range of Drum Cutters

Atlas Copco Canada has added a range of Drum Cutter attachments to its line of Construction Tools. Eight new DC models provide cutting widths from 480 to 1239.52 mm (18.9 to 48.8 inches), and are ideal for a wide variety of applications such as narrow trenching.
