Supavac® pumps reliably transfer most flowable sludge, hard solids, trash, slurries and dry bulk materials, where the use of submersible, centrifugal and diaphragm pumps results in excessive maintenance and downtime or is not a viable option.

Supavac manufactures an extensive range of air powered solid pumps which due to the high levels of vacuum and airflows generated, can alternate between lean and dense phase conveying as either the material, or operation demand.

The patented vacuum recovery and pressure discharge technology is the key to the effective operation of these pumps.

These fully automatic pumps, with capacities from 10 to 60 m3/h and higher, can achieve fluid suction lifts up to 25 feet dry static and through 200 feet horizontal lines, air flow vacuum pneumatic recovery up to 75 feet vertical and effective product discharge of up to 2,900 feet horizontal.

Units are compact and fully enclosed for zero discharge environmental compliance. Canadian models are manufactured to comply with mandatory ASME “U” stamp and CRN pressure vessel regulations. Supavac pump systems are in active service from Australia to South Africa and from Chile to the North Sea and are now available for rental or purchase in North America.

With no rotating parts or electricity and with no moving parts in contact with the flow, extremely high reliability has been the experience.

Installations include: upset sumps; snakepits; transfers; underwater cleaning; oil and gas exploration; directional drilling; digesters; conveyor spillage; lagoons and ponds; bypass pumping; tunneling; pneumatic excavation and conveyance; intrinsically safe operation for underground and x-p areas.

Applications include: drilling mud waste and cuttings; abrasive and corrosive slurries; rock, sand and ballast; mine tailings and muck; hydrocarbon and viscous sludge; noxious and hazardous waste; raw effluent; and all types of wet and dry spills.
